Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of our most answered questions.

Professional

Do you provide resources?

All of our courses are supported by resources that are made available to participants after the session.  These are included in the cost of the training.

Additional resources to support ourselves and the children and young people are also available to purchase.

What are the costings for your training?

We are consistently told that ‘everyone needs this training’ and by keeping costs reasonable we are able to reach as many people as possible.  We charge per session rather than per person and Webinars start from £300.00.

We tailor the programmes to your needs and full costings are available on request.

What age group do you support?

Our training considers the entire life span – from early brain development and how we can support babies right through to how we can work with our nervous systems as adults to support our own wellbeing.

Are you Trauma-informed?

Yes. Both Leanne and Josh have vast experience in supporting children, young people and adults who have experienced trauma. Our entire approach grew from this experience.  We have a deep understanding as to how the brain adapts to trauma and how this impacts belief systems and behaviour. We truly believe that seeing others and ourselves through this lens leads to a more compassionate, informed and effective way of supporting both our own, and others, mental health and wellbeing.

How many people can attend each session?

Both full school training and small group sessions are available.  Please discuss this with us as the answer depends on what you are hoping to achieve and which course you choose.

Individual

Why is this different to other groups I've attended?

The feedback we consistently receive is that our groups are different because they feel so relaxed.  People tell us that they love attending and that they appreciate how welcoming and non judgemental we are.  We support you to understand behaviour and through this understanding compassion for both ourselves and others is found.  This is not tokenistic self care, this is understanding behaviour and finding confidence in knowing how to support both ourself and others in ways that actually work in the real world.

Do you offer 1-1 or Family Support?

Yes.  Both Josh and Leanne carry a small 1-1 caseload.  We do this because we love seeing people thrive and being part of that journey.  It also keeps our training deep rooted in ‘real life’.  Please get in touch if you are interested in this support and we can let you know what is available.

My child struggles with anxiety (or anger) can you help?

Yes.  Both Leanne and Josh carry a small 1-1 caseload where we can offer individual support.  To access this support there is a requirement that you attend a group first as we have found this is the most effective way of reaching as many people as possible.
